Ugadi/Gudi Padwa Celebration by HTCI – Thursday, March 19
Ugadi, meaning “the beginning of a new age,” is the traditional New Year celebrated in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka. This sacred festival is also observed as Gudi Padwa by Marathi and Konkani communities in Maharashtra and Goa. Marking the start of a new lunar calendar year, Ugadi is an auspicious time for new beginnings, prayers, and spiritual resolutions. What better way to begin this blessed day than by seeking the divine grace of Ganesha, the remover of obstacles, through Ganesh Archana at 9:30 AM and 6:00 PM.

Panchanga Sravanam – 6:30 PM
Devotees will have the opportunity to listen to the sacred Ugadi Panchanga recitation by our priest, offering spiritual and astrological insights for the year ahead.

Commencement of Vasanth Navaratri - March 19
Ugadi also marks the beginning of nine sacred days dedicated to the worship of the Divine Mother, symbolizing renewal, devotion, and spiritual upliftment.

Nav Parayan (March 19 – March 26)
Sacred reading and chanting is done at HTCI to invoke divine grace, purity, and inner transformation.

All devotees are warmly invited to visit the temple with family and friends and participate in the Ugadi/Gudi Padwa celebrations to seek divine blessings for a joyful, prosperous, and spiritually fulfilling New Year.
