Aabharanam & Abhushanam
Contribute towards the divine adornment of our temple deities with sacred ornaments and jewelry.
The Tradition of Divine Adornment
In our Vedic tradition, offering Aabharanam (jewelry) to the deities is a profound act of devotion (Bhakti). It symbolizes our desire to provide the very best to the Divine, recognizing that everything we possess is a gift from the Supreme.
These sacred ornaments—ranging from crowns (Kirita) and necklaces (Haara) to waist-belts (Oddiyanam) and bracelets (Kankana)—are meticulously crafted to enhance the spiritual aura and beauty of the Vigrahas (idols).
Gold
The most sacred metal, symbolizing the sun and divine energy.
Silver
Representing the moon and coolness, offered for peace and prosperity.
Gems
Precious stones like Rubies and Emeralds to signify spiritual wealth.
